Mathes, Marie Theresa, 78, of Bellmore, on December 13th. Devoted wife of Robert. Cherished mom of Lisa Peace, Roy, and Jennifer Fitzgerald (Patrick). Loving grandma of Jake, Megan, Kaitlin, Halle, Dan, Maggie, Gabriella and dog grandma of Bailey. Caring sister of Theresa DiGiovanna (Matthew), Leonard Scicutella (Fran), Mary Scicutella and the late Dominic. Visitation will be on Monday, December 19th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at C.S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 S. Bedford Ave., Bellmore. Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, December 20th, 10am, at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Ave., Bellmore. Mausoleum Entombment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's name to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
