It's been a long while since our families last connected but we have such fond childhood memories of our time spent together at backyard barbecues and Bellmore K of C events.
My parents thought very highly of your mom and dad.
When Mom called me with the news we both took a minute to look back on all the memories and how many years it's been -- Good Lord time flies.
☘️Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal ☘️
Please accept our warmest condolences.
We are sending thoughts of peace and courage your way

This was a great man . He taught me a strong lesson in defacing other people's property. He caught me writing on the bathroom wall.. so he call my father. They were on first names...they both came up with idea of making me paint the bathroom... I learned a lesson. May this great man RIP

It was my pleasure to have known Artie, his dear Mom and Dad, brother Bernard and sister Joyce. Art was a couple of grades ahead of his brother Bernard and me at St Andrew's Grammar school. We'd play basketball at Bowne Park or baseball at Red Raiders Field. He was an avid (and knowledgeable!) year-round sports fan, Through the years whenever we'd meet, Art would offer a hearty greeting and always make inquiries about my parents and my siblings. Rest in peace, Art. Eddie Mullaney

So sorry for the loss of your father. He was a great man and loved by all. I had him as a Social Studies teacher and then my sons had him as a guidance counselor in Mepham High.

Dear Sharyne, Tug, Pat, Anne and Kitty,
I can't even explain how much I loved your Dad. When I was a young teacher starting out at Grand Avenue he was so kind to me and was a great mentor. He made me a better teacher but more importantly he made me a better husband and father. He always spoke so highly about all of you and was so proud to be your dad. I'm sorry that I will not be able to make the services. Love to all of you. Jimmy Fox
