Obituary of Elizabeth Carol Stokes

Stokes, Elizabeth Carol, 81, of Bellmore on May 25th. Devoted wife of Michael Sr. for 62 loving years. Beloved mom of Michael Jr. and Liz. Cherished sister of Cathy (John). A ribbon-winning barrel racer between 1957-1960. She had the opportunity to perform in many places, including Madison Square Garden. A talented line dancer of over 20 years. She is remembered by her dear fellow dancers and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30th from 4-8pm at C.S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 S. Bedford Ave., Bellmore. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, May 31st at 11:15am at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Ave., Bellmore. Private disposition to follow.
