Obituary of John S. Cotter

Cotter, John S., 74, of Bellmore on August 4th. Loving husband of Denise. Cherished father of Jennifer and Jackie. Beloved grandfather of Alex, Adriana, Christopher and Nicholas. Dearest son of the late John and Anne. Proud member of the Bellmore Fire Department and veteran of the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s name to The FASNY Firefighter’s Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8th and Wednesday August 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 at C.S. Bartholomew & Son, 302 S. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore. Interment to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
