Brophy, William E., of Bellmore, on February 3rd. Beloved husband of Eleanor. Dearest son of the late William and Catherine. Loving father of Kathleen (Steven), Joseph (Giovanna), Michael (Maria), and William (Mary Jane). Devoted grandfather of Bill, Steven, Robert, Kristen, Megan, Julianne, Jack, Dan, Nick, and Eleanor. Cherished brother of Patrick and the late Kathleen, Evelyn, and Ann. Proud U.S. Army Veteran. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, February 7 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, February 8th at 10am at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Ave., Bellmore. Burial to follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton.
