I really didn’t get to know Ronnie, until becoming part of a golfing crew that enjoyed Bill Meehans hospitality in Florida, during the winter months. Prior to that I would sometimes have to call Ronnie, when he had County Duty, to authorize my OT. He was always a true professional and don’t bust your chops. When I got to really meet Roonie and spend time with him, to say he was character, would be an understatement. His humor kept us all in good spirit. It was cutting, witty and sharp. He will be sorely missed. May God look kindly upon him and help his family through this tough time with peace and strength. I have had the pleasure of working with Ronnie when he first came to the Fifth Squad. I only worked a few months with him in the Fifth but a few years later he came to C.A.P. Squad and I learned what a great guy he really was. Ronnie was a straight shooter, was fair, honest and compassionate about his job. He always had a smile on his face and would be there when needed. He was great on the job and better when we all socialized together. May he Rest in Peace. Until we meet again. Robert "Bobby" Southard
