John was born November 18, 1943 and entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2024. Proud US Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of Josephine. Loving father John (Catherine) Christiansen, Stefanie (James) DeSalvo, Amy (Mike) Hess, and Michael (Liza) Christiansen. Cherished grandfather of John, Tommy, Grace, Lily, Jeffrey, Whitney, Mary, Layla and the late Billy. Caring brother of Gail (Bill) Slade and Linda (Ronnie) Miller. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 19 from 2-4 & 7-9:00 PM at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate his life will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore. Entombment to follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
