Where do I even begin, the news of your passing my friend, my brother, is hard to accept! Pete and I were in high school together, then during early college years we were essentially inseparable. He would always help me with my Calculus homework, and always had the answer within seconds. He was definitely a genius. We were a tight group of friends that I met through Pete and pretty much spent every weekend together on Bell Boulevard in Queens, the Hamptons, and weekend trips. I grew up with four sisters and no brothers, Pete for sure was my brother. When we were in Nassau community college together, we would study at the library on the top floor. We would look out the window and see the lights and the signs for Roosevelt Raceway Track instead of studying we would head down to the track and throw a couple of bucks on the horses and always lose, but had the best time :). Pete also came from a wonderful family. When I would stop over and talk with his Mom, Dad, Jen, or Cono. Before heading out, his mom would always have a freshly pressed shirt for him.
I had this little red Fiat convertible and on the weekends we would blast out to the Hamptons, where a bunch of us rented a house for the summer. Those were my best memories, playing music in the car and just laughing, young and healthy with no worries, the best moments of my life. I would always tinker with cars in my driveway and Pete would pull up in that gray Toyota Celica sometimes, even now, when I’m at home I think he’s gonna pull up again :(
I am so sorry that I lost touch with him later on in life and have since moved to South Carolina. You will be very missed by my self, your family and the many friends from your lifetime. Thank you for some of the best memories of my life. My condolences to Jen and Cono may the Lord give you strength during this time. Rest in peace, my friend!!

I first met Peter in 2014 when I started my career at Netsmart. He made several trips to KC for work, and we would make him sit in the far-right corner of our desks, so he was near if we had questions. I remember we would give him such a hard time because we only ever saw him eat fig newtons haha Every day, several times a day, he always had a fig on his desk.
Several years ago, a coworker and I landed in NY; we got our luggage and took an Uber to the hotel. Well, we either put in the wrong location for the uber or the uber dropped us off at the wrong location. Either way, we walked several blocks in the rain until we found our hotel. We had plans to meet Peter for dinner, so we headed out to TGIF in NY to meet up. We walked because we were close, in the rain, we got lost again. We finally made it to TGIF and Peter said, "I saw you walk by several times." We just stared at him while we’re standing there soaking wet. He had both of our numbers but didn't bother to call us and tell us he saw us or even call and ask why we were wondering the streets of NY. I gave him a really hard time about that. We laughed about that for the rest of the night. After dinner it stopped raining, so we decide to go walking around time square and he went with us. It was a great night with a lot of laughs! (attached is the picture of the three of us on this night. Peter, our coworker and myself)
Over the last 9 years of working with Peter, we spoke on the phone daily. He was my lifeline for everything. If something went wrong at work, he was always a phone call away. We would share stories of our vacations, talk about our dogs, family, and life. He was so much more than a coworker; he was my friend. He always gave me the best advice and never tried to sugarcoat anything; I think that’s why we got along so well. He touched so many lives and made an everlasting impact. He was patient, kind and always found a way to make you laugh. His memory will be with me forever. I was so lucky to have known him.
Cono, Jennifer and family – You are in my thoughts and prayers. I’m keeping you close to my heart during this difficult time. He will always be with you.

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Peter. I worked with him at Netsmart for almost 2 years and through Covid. He taught me so much and was one of my close friends. I left suddenly after my mom died and lost touch. I have thought about him and his health. He was incredibly strong and I know he fought hard and loved his family so much. I am thinking of you all and will miss Peter so much. I am so glad he is at peace now. Please know how much he truly impacted me. He was the sweetest man I know and I was so lucky to have had him in my life for the short time I did.

We are so sorry for the loss of Peter. He was a beloved colleague of many throughout his 30 year tenure at Netsmart. He was a wealth of knowledge, patient, and kind. I always enjoyed our chats- he spoke of his sister/family and dogs often. We also connected over our love of Trader Joes. Wishing comfort and peace to Peter's family during this difficult time. He will be missed.
