Obituary of Faye Varelas
VARELAS – Faye, 82 of Wantagh passed away peacefully on March 27, 2015 after a long illness.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Varelas (former Sherriff of Nassau County), devoted mother to James (Cassie) of Huntington, Thomas D. of Wantagh, Gregory (Ellen) of Madison, CT , loving grandmother of Andrew and Jonathan Varelas, dearest cousin of Harriet Kritselis Dallas, TX, and so many long time & endearing friends.
Visitation begins Monday March 30 2-4p & 7-9p at C.S. Bartholomew & Son, 302 S. Bedford Ave Bellmore, NY
Funeral Mass Tuesday 11am at St. Paul's Cathedral 110 Cathedral Ave. Hempstead, NY followed by Internment at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul's Cathedral or Hospice Care Network 99 Sunnyside Blvd Woodbury, NY
