I am sorry to hear of Mr. Newton's passing. May the Lord comfort his family in this time of need. Mr. Newton was my Earth Sciences teacher at Freeport High School back in 1968 and he was an exceptional teacher and human being. He knew how to engage students on many levels and made what could be a boring class fun. RIP Ernie!
