Thomas F. Coleman, age 89, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Mary Teresa. Loving father of Dorothy Doweiko (John), Bernadette Batterson (William), Maura Vagnone (Frank), Veronica McKenna (Richard), Neil (Virginia) and the late Helen. Devoted brother of Frank (Anita), Arthur (Mary), and the late John (Marilyn) and the late Jacqueline (late Clifford). Cherished grandfather of Alison, Vincent, Joseph Vagnone, William, Teresa, Timothy Batterson, John, Andrew, Clare, Thomas Doweiko, Casey, Richard, Fallon McKenna, and Brigid and Charlotte Coleman. Proud veteran of the US Navy, retired auditor for Depositary Trust Co. and Deacon who lovingly served the parishes of St. Martha & St. Barnabas. Visitation will be Friday, February 17 from 2-4pm & 7-9:30pm at C.S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc. Bellmore, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Bellmore. Mausoleum entombment at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Tom’s memory.
