Obituary of Carmela Volpe

Carmela Volpe, age 91, of Dallas, GA, on Thursday, August 10, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony. She is survived by three daughters: Susan (Larry) Schaffer, Theresa (Ken) Jemmott and Marie (Peter) Mudgett, grandchildren, Richard, Alison, Kenneth, Ann, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Great Grandchildren, Jacob and Addison. She is predeceased by her son, Anthony. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 15 from 2-4 & 7-9:30pm and Wednesday, August 16 from 2-4 & 7-9:30pm at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:45 am on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery/Resurrection, Farmingdale on Thursday, August 17.
