Obituary of V. Joan Schimoler

Schimoler, V. Joan (nee Burke), of North Bellmore, formerly of Brooklyn, on Friday, November 3, 2017. 

Beloved wife of Ted.

Loving mother of Kathleen Guarino (Jerry), Arleen Villar (Luis), Ted Jr. (deceased), Joan Kelly (Mike) and Christine Cook (Bill).

Cherished grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 13.

Joan was the consummate teacher, spending 32 years at St. Barnabas teaching CCD and established the pre-school program in the parish.

Reposing at C.S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 S. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. Wake Saturday, November 4 from 7-9:30 and Sunday, November 5 from 2-4pm & 7-9:30pm.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:45am on Monday, November 6th at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Bellmore. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
