Every so often, we are blessed with becoming acquainted with a special person, a person who makes you feel as though you've always been friends. Kathy was my special person. Although our lives seldom intersected after our daughters became adults, whenever I got to see Kathy in the community, I was overwhelmed by a feeling of sisterhood. My heart is broken; my love for Kathy will live on.
