As a fellow Bellmore Resident and Neighbor of Diane and Warren I have had the greatest pleasure of knowing both for a number of years! It greatly saddens me to hear of his passing! He was as stated in the Obits a very generous and kind individual! I always enjoyed my visits at their home! RIP and God bless You Warren!

Warren C. Hiller was one of the most shining examples of a man of honor I have ever been lucky enough to meet and know. No paltry words of mine could ever do him, or his loving wife Diane, whom I also dearly love, any true justice at all. In their own respective rights, as well as to and for each other, they are each my newest and latest examples and definitions of exemplary Human Love, and Undying Devotion to and for each other. Amidst the 23-odd years I knew Warren, I can't remember any time when I ever even heard him so much as speak a cross word to anyone else . . . and I don't believe there were any such occasions. He was a better man than I, in many respects, and to say or pretend otherwise would only be a self-convenient lie. Ironically, in his demonstrated examples of being one of the kindest and most gentle men I have ever known, he was also the highest epitome of a veritable, literal Superman, in his own long, arduous battle against what began as colon cancer.
I know that Warren didn't give up even when he could no longer even speak at all, and did so only when he could no longer even properly breathe on his own, even with a stent inserted into the trachea to help keep the airway open. Thus even Superman encountered the kryptonite that induced his spirit into the full acknowledgment, desire and need for the relief of surrender into the repose of some much-needed pain relief, rest and peace. My sense of sadness is somewhat tempered only by my firm belief that he is finally reaping the peaceful, joyful rewards of the Afterlife, that he so well earned, and so very richly deserves.
My prayers offered up to our Creator's ears are two-fold in nature, and with equal equality: (1) That Warren C. Hiller will both rest in peace, as well as dance with joy in the arms of his own, other beloveds, who have also arrived at their final dwelling place, and (2) that Diane Beljan-Hiller will both find as well as live in peace, as soon as is humanly possible, until such time as they are reunited together again in Paradise.
Our purpose here was to love each other, as much as we can, as best as we can, and for as long as we possibly can. The extent to which we do so is the only thing we get to take with us, to have and call our own, as we venture into the afterlife we call Paradise. How do familiar souls, no longer imprisoned inside bodies, even find and commune with each other there, when they have no eyes to see, or arms to embrace, or hands, fingertips and lips to softly, gently, lovingly caress? All they can do is FEEL the warmth of each other, generated by the love they knew, and felt, and helped to create. That is why and how souls glow, from the inside out, each in their own measure, and even in the place where one is all, and all are one, THAT is how familiar souls find and embrace each other again. Amidst the sea of of souls who have become, and contribute to, all that seamless, dazzling white-light brilliance, they feel, follow and find the most familiar and deepest warmth of all. The Creator smiles upon that, and them, and thereby contributes His Own consummate love, brilliance and warmth upon them too. All-Knowing that they loved much indeed, as He asked and hoped and wanted them to. I believe every single soul in Paradise will immediately discern how much Warren's entry into their own midst has warmed and brightened and hugely beautified Paradise, in his own measure, as a he himself becomes a part and parcel of it.
Diane, with much chagrin, due to multiple factors, I was unable to effect flower delivery to the Service in time, so as soon as I can attain a "generic" type of debit card for an online transaction, I will be making a donation in Warren's honor and memory to The Little Shelter, as you indicated and desired. My prayers for Warren's rest in peace and your continuing life in peace will continue, for as long as I myself live. Promise

I first met Warren and Diane at Little Shelter. I had just buried my dog there. I was so upset and could not stop crying. Diane and Warren were volunteers at Little Shelter. They were walking a dog named Oreo. They came over to me, hugged me and let me just cry to them. We have been friends ever since. Warren you will be truly missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure to know you.

Diane we at Little Shelter are so sad to hear of Warren's passing. He was such a wonderful man, with a great sense of humor and a passion for animals.
I enjoyed seeing both of you at our annual Pet A Palooza last summer. He will be missed by many!

I never had the opportunity to meet Warren, but through Diane I understood him to be one tough but beautiful soul. He always proved the doctors wrong which means he had a zest for life and a strong love for Diane.
Prayers for Diane and the family.

Diane, from what I can tell Warren fought a good fight and ran a long race. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. Continued prayers for you and your family as you all go through these next few days and the days ahead.
