Robert William Kargoll
June 30, 1930 - July 10, 2019
Robert died peacefully early morning July 10th at The Fireman’s Home (FASNY) where he lived for the past seven years.
He had the privilege of receiving excellent care by FASNY after a lifetime of volunteer service in the Bellmore Fire Department.
His wife, Marilyn Loretta Kargoll (nee Stroh) pre-deceased him in 1975, as did his sister Jeanne Silverstein (nee Kargoll) in 2017.
He leaves behind three daughters Kathleen Kargoll, Laura Kargoll Sforza, and Priscilla Demasi, five grandchildren, Jennifer Sforza Paulicelli, Daniel Sforza, Sean Taylor, Brian Taylor, and Sofia Demasi and great grandson Kevin Paulicelli. He was loved dearly as Uncle Bob by his nieces and nephews, Wayne, Viviane, John, Sandra, Scott, Bill, Jacklyn, Kelly, Tara & Lori.
Born in Rockville Centre, he lived most of his life in Bellmore and was an active volunteer in the Bellmore Fire Department, the Knights of Columbus, and at St. Barnabas Church. He loved to dance and play golf.
