There was never a kinder person I ever met. He saw the good in everyone, he brought people together. If you met someone who knew Clem, you were friends. We would joke about who would become famous, like kids do, he said it would be me but I knew it would be him, because it was him. On Thanksgiving Day, after all the family stuff, we would usually meet at the train station in Bellmore. It was the only place open, but we just had to hang out together. The adventures of Smith Brothers, The Robertson’s and Mill Pond, with the whole Bellmore gang, are the greatest memories. When hearing of his passing I drove up from Florida, after a few hours the sun was coming up and I thought, this is one sunrise he will never see. It made me very sad and empty, but I will see the sunrise for you, my dear friend, to be reminded of the beauty of your life, and I will see you at the train station.

Just remembering all the good times we had hanging out at Smith brothers and the Robinsons house we’re all were welcome!!!! Had a great time when Mike Greco put together the reunion in Bellmore and I got to see Clem again. You will be Missed !!!! Farewell my old friend !!!!
