Obituary of Joseph R. Genna

Joseph Genna of Wantagh, NY, 78, passed away on February 11, 2021. Joseph was born May 9, 1942 in Freeport, NY to the late Benjamin and Elise Genna. In 1963, Joseph married the love of his life, Marianne Beck; Joseph and Marianne went on to raise two sons in Wantagh, NY before retiring and settling down in Fort Pierce, FL. Joseph is predeceased by his loving wife, Marianne; survived by his two sons, Joseph Genna of Wantagh, NY, Jeffrey Genna of Jersey City, NJ; sister Carole Walton (Donald) of Massapequa, NY; brothers in-law Paul Beck (Blanche) of Smithtown, NY, Rich Beck (Rhoda) of Lewistown, PA, Robert Beck of Chester, VA; and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 17th from 10-11:30am at C.S. Bartholomew and Son, Inc., 302 S. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY 11710. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11am. Entombment immediately following at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Joseph's name to a charity of your choice.
