Aunt Josephine miss you yet I’m so mad at you for telling me several times after grandma died in January 2018 that when you die your leaving everything to me…… knowing my mother……I didn’t get a cent when bother telling me that I don’t need the stress especially realizing your. Humor now… “I have a bank account my mother left me with a little money in it so I can travel etc….and I want you to have it it’s not much (comedian) but I’m leaving it to you. I don’t want money I want you here but I know you didn’t die that day and I remember your birthday is in February leap year celebrated March 1st because leap year isn’t every year….. while this country is still using money to buy and sell …. Send me blessings of money from heaven while we’re still using it cause I’m tired of living below poverty level. More humble than a nun I am. Knowing all she did to you and you still go around her elsewhere……your crazy! Love lauren

Our deepest condolences. Sr. Josephine was a wonderful person and teacher. I was principal while she was with us at St. John Villa Academy on Staten Island. What a joy she was to minister with.

Our deepest condolences to the family of dear Sr. Josephine whom we had the pleasure to meet in 1956 in Halifax when both of us, my 17 year old sister, Sr. Anne Veronica and I,16 year old Jackie, entered the Sisters of Charity, meeting and bonding with 16 year old Josephine, and remaining friends through the years. I had the honor of designing Sr.Josephine's invitations for her 50th Jubilee Celebration. Both my sister, Sr. Anne Veronica and I have cherished memories of Sr. Josephine, losing a jewell on this side of life, but assured Sr. Josephine is finally Home in Heaven, sending us, along with all of our Marian Band, including those of us called out of the Order for other ministries, special blessings from Heaven! We'll be praying in spirit with Josephine's family and friends on Friday at 10/

Sending love and prayers from Bayonne to our cousins in Staten Island for our wonderful sister Josephine. We know that she is now in the Kingdom of Heaven, A place she spoke to me many many times about. She left this life but she will always be a ray of sun and I believe she will be standing on my shoulders always guiding me. We love sister Josephine and we love Linda Maryann and Joseph and your entire family. God bless you all. Love Maria and Nick Anastasi and the entire Mattiello clan...We love you
