I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with Harvey for the past nine years. He was a true gentlemen with an uncanny sense of humor. Harvey always brought a smile to my face. There was never a day that Harvey didn't make me laugh. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.

Sometimes when God doesn't give you a brother through blood, he gives you one through love. That's how Harvey became my brother 45 years ago. He opened his heart and let me in and when he left he took part of mine with him. Knowing Harvey was a lesson in being good. Never through words, he would never tell anyone what to do, but by example. Generous beyond measure, kind, caring and an endless supply of jokes, not all of them good. He could always make you smile! and seeing how he treated people, he made you want to do better, be more generous, kind, caring. As our families grew over the years, we grew closer and on both sides people would ask how we were related and it was a simple answer, through love. He was the hardest working man I ever knew, not because he wanted anything for himself, but to provide for his family and help others. Generosity was his strong suit and he'd give you his last dollar if you needed it and never take it back or mention it again. Thank you Harvey for the honor of calling me your sister, Walter your brother and being the best uncle on the planet to my children and grandchildren. My life was never the same after I met you and with your passing, it is again forever changed. I promise I will keep your legacy of love, kindness, generosity alive and up my game on the joke telling. So many hearts were broken when you left, the only consolation is that you are in a far better place, at peace and I will see you again. Rest easy my brother, til we meet again, I love you. Deb

There are no words to fully express what this loss means to me and to his family. I will be forever grateful to Joannie and Harvey for taking me in. I lost my father in 1996 and my mother in 2014. I was never close to my extended family nor did I have a lot of friends. Joannie and Harvey, and their family took me in, provided advice, and demonstrated to me what a family should be. Their support never waivered, they were there for me when I was hospitalized, and Harvey helped me get to work daily. I will be forever grateful for all they and their family have given me. Harvey was a wonderful father and friend. I'm grateful for the time we spent together and for his generosity and kindness.

I worked with Harvey for close to 25 years at Raynor. We were like brothers. At times we disagreed with each other but at the end of the day we were always friends. I always thanked Harvey for serving in the military. If I was ever in a foxhole, I told him numerous times that I would want him to be next to me. Unfortunately because of Covid, I will not be able to attend the memorial service on Sunday. I will miss you dearly and will cherish forever all of our memories.
Love always Fred Printz

So sorry to hear of Harvey's passing. Although I am in the Maryland office I had many interactions with Harvey. In fact we met in California helping to open the Ca warehouse.
The entire Raynor Company will miss him. Just a great person who was always willing to help.

Harvey is (I can't say was because I think of him as always with us) one of the nicest, kindest most patient persons I've had the good fortune to know and work with these past 18 years. I'll never forget my first week at Raynor, Harvey took me out to lunch which made me feel so welcome. He loved food and would tell me how he would deep fry turkey for Thanksgiving!
Harvey had a great sense of humor, he and one of our former co-worker's Nick, were like a comedy team, the way they would bust on each other. It was so fun seeing them interact.
We all can take many examples of Harvey's nature to heart, to not let little things get to us, to live each day to the fullest and enjoy every moment, be kind to each other.
He is so missed.
My heartfelt condolences and prayers to all Harvey's family. Wishing you peace and comfort.
With deepest sympathy and much love, Betty

What can I say about Harvey? I can say lots of wonderful things about a man who loved everyone no matter what. Harvey has taught me through out the 11 years that not to hold a grudge because life is to short and we should all respect and love each other no matter what. I still listen to that every time I get upset with someone. Harvey will always come to me and tell me to stop life is to short and I will always remember that because of him.
He is a man that would always be there for you if you need guidance or any kind of help. Here in our office we have what is called Harvey's bible, it tells us everything about our chairs and we always go to that book to find the answers we need. This book will always stay with us in memory of Harvey. I will miss him so very much and will always keep the love I have for him in my heart and prayers.
I will keep you all in my heart and prayers. God bless. Love always Rita
