McDonnell, Rita D., 98, on December 27th. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Cherished mother of Jane (Chip), Edward (Cecilia), Ellen, Mark (Christina), Carol (Danny). Loving grammy of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She lived her life fully, one day at a time. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30th from 4-8pm at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY. Latin requiem Mass will be held on Friday, December 31st 10:30am at St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 900 Horseblock Road, Farmingville, NY. Burial will be private.
